This book shoots from the hip.  Unlike many books there is no fat and only a little chat about the author.  While it does go into some of the dynamics of rowing it refrains from drowning the reader in all sorts of complications and associated data.

Mr. Mike Thompson, VP Coach & Athlete Development of RowOntario, describes the book as a "competent manuscript, an easy read with a fun style" and "very enjoyable with some good exercises".

The 75 page book is perfect for beginners and a good refresher for old hands. It includes coaching and describes some excellent exercises. It is definitely something you should take with you to read before an outing!
